Of course not, a threat is a threat and should be treated as such. If you remember, I look at it as a "rabid dog". Human life is to be cherished...especially preservation, but not as much as self-preservation. If you recall the days when I would say "who am I gonna shoot today?" I was prepared to take a life to make sure the mission was accomplished and that both of us returned safely. Something I'm not ashamed of. Call me Dexter...sad attempt at levity!

Comment on Call Me Thor

Hey Mark, great to find your writing. It's like politics. You can have a million different viewpoints. Everyone sees what they want to see.

That's what I like about flying. I don't have to "influence" people about getting to a destination. I either get them there, or I don't. Pretty black and white. However, if catering screwed up on ordering their favorite brand of scotch, that's different. ;)

Comment on Information Operations

That's too bad - the information war being as such must frustrate you. Glad you've been able to write blog entries again on occasion.

Comment on It's All Down Hill

Dear Mark: So glad you are back on line. It was great to see you while you were on leave as well as the rest of your family - lovely Hannah and Princess Violet. There is nothing like Mn in the summer - I do miss that!
It won't be long now and you will be home with your family and back to "normal". Your old mom will be glad to have you back on American soil. We keep you in our prayers and love you always - Mom

Comment on It's All Down Hill

I was so glad to ready about your trip back home to Hannah and Violet. How wonderful for you all to be together at last, even if only for a short time. Thanksgiving will be here before you know it!! School supplies are in all the stores and Halloween items will be next, so fall is definately on the way. I hope the time passes quickly for you and that you keep safe and well. I was so sorry to hear about your dog passing away. They really do become a part of the family and are missed. It sounds like Hannah has done an exceptional job doing things on her own and taking care of Violet. It is nice you are so proud of her!! Good job Hannah!!! Well, time to be the Wal Mart greeter now, so take care, keep safe, and may love, hugs, and prayers go with you. Love, Aunt Sylvia

Comment on Finally!

Mark,

Hope you, Hannah, and Violet are doing Okay. We saw your parents yesterday and found out that you would be home for a couple of weeks. How gracious of the Lord to allow you to be home on your first father's day! We enjoyed visiting with Hannah and Violet when they were at J & J's at Christmas. We pray for you regularly.
Tony & Sheryl

Comment on Finally!

Hooray!
